A Busy Few Months

December 10, 2019
Catch up We have had a busy few months and as we are approaching mid-November, it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. September started off with our official launch for our new showroom. Clients, suppliers, and local businesses came to show their support and it turned into a really nice evening. Recipe Hacks

To kick start October, Nathan was finally back with a fantastic winter warmer: pumpkin soup. Apart from the soup tasting great, it was really good to see Nathan back cooking again. The last appearance was back in April, which seems a lifetime ago.For our Halloween recipe, we thought that nothing would be better than having children to help Nathan make a scary treat! Harriet Butchers and Shiloh Honeyghan from the local primary school created quite a storm. There was carnage, but there was also fun and laughter enjoyed by all. The Slime Bug Cups tasted pretty good too! A collaboration with Nathan and Steve, the Installations manager, was well overdue! They came together and made Mulled Apple Cider, and they made a great partnership. Look out for more recipe videos in the future.

We are delighted to announce our October competition winner Marie Skrzpczak, who was lucky enough to win the SMEG toaster and kettle set worth £300. We’re sure that she’ll be very happy with this fantastic prize.

Case Studies

We are proud to showcase two first-class case studies for the past two months. Mrs Morris, from Hartley, who’s kitchen hosts a sensational island. Islands have become very popular over the past few years and it was a pleasure working alongside Mrs Morris to create her dream kitchen. Rolling into November we had the joy of revisiting Mrs Gascoigne. We installed her kitchen about three years ago and it was nice to have a catch up with her and Mr Gascoigne to see how they were getting on. Whilst their space was a little limited for space, every fine detail was taken into consideration to make sure they had the right accessibility. Most of their time is spent in their kitchen, therefore it was really important to get every aspect just right. It was a pleasure to see that they were getting on well and still enjoying the unique features and the stunning view from their kitchen.

Purple Tuesday

Last month we joined over 2,000 other companies with a campaign called Purple Tuesday. Purple Tuesday is an initiative to create an environment where disabled customers have a great and inclusive shopping experience. Being a part of this campaign is a huge commitment. We want all of our customers to feel comfortable and confident from the moment they enter our showroom to the end when they have their kitchen installed. We have been on extensive training, which has given us the knowledge and skills to create the best environment for all of our customers. Keep your eyes peeled for more information about this in December. If you can’t wait until then click this link for more information https://purpletuesday.org.uk/

We would like to announce some good news. We have appointed a new office manager; Emma Davies. Emma has been working with us on reception since March and is delighted with her new position and the new challenges ahead.
