Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

December 20, 2019
This year at Simply Kitchens has no doubt been one of the biggest in Simply Kitchens history.

The move into our purpose-built showroom was one of the biggest challenges of the year. Moving into this new showroom meant that we could expand on our ranges and that we could offer our customers a larger, modern range of kitchens. The showroom itself has proven to be a big hit and a huge success. The support and feedback at the launch in September to celebrate this, was just the icing on the cake. Being surrounded by previous customers, and suppliers and local Westcountry brands such as Burts crisps, Langage Farm and Casting Wines just to name a few really made us feel proud and grateful and reflect on how far we have grown as a business.

Moving comes with changes. New members of staff and our new office manager, Emma, who is already part of the family and popular with customers.

We’ve cooked some great recipes this year. A few that come to mind are Valentine’s Mussels, which seem to have received amazing feedback and positivity. Moving on through the year, the Giant Easter Egg and the Victoria Sponge for Mother’s Day was a cake fit for the ‘Great British Bake off'.

Throughout the year we have continued to support the young people of Routeways. Giving back is always a part of our ethos, and we love the work they do for young people, we really are proud to be a part of it. Moving forward into 2020, we can’t wait to continue to work with them.

In the summer we joined an international organisation called Purple Tuesday. Which is a great incentive to focus on customer service and experience for people with disabilities. Being part of the Purple Tuesday initiative is really important to us, as we’re committed to ensuring that all customers feel included and welcome at Simply Kitchens.

We have completed some amazing projects this year. Some more challenging than others. However, with determination and teamwork, all have been successful with praise and positive feedback. Which is exactly where we want to continue to be moving forward into 2020.

With the move, and having such a busy summer, it was genuinely nice to get back in the kitchen. From making some fun Halloween recipes to doing some collaborative cooking with Steve, Nigel from Tamar Fresh, and our lovely office manager Emma.

It has been a fantastic year. Thank you for all your support throughout 2019. We would also just like to say we hope that you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

From Nathan and the Simply Kitchens team.👍
